Fireships is an elegant, folky indie outfit incorporating Americana and even West African influences with shades of Deer Tick, Lou Reed, The Walkmen and Paul Simon’s Graceland. The band is Fronted by Andrew Vladeck, founder of The Honey Brothers (the band that notably features The Entourage’s Adrian Grenier) and veteran solo artist.
