Country music superstar and American Idol alum Carrie Underwood has released the first single from her upcoming 6th record. The single titled, “Cry Pretty,” is an ode to all the women who stay strong for everyone all the time, for anyone who has faked a smile in the past, and is an anthem from the country queen, letting us all know it’s okay to break down every once in a while.

“The title refers to when emotions take over and you just can’t hold them back. It really speaks to a lot of things that have happened in the past year and I hope when you hear it, you can relate those feelings to those times in your life. It’s emotional. It’s real. And it ROCKS!” Underwood wrote in a statement on her website. Check it out!
